Fourth Day
Psalm of the Day
Psalm 110 — Sit at My Right Hand
A Psalm by David.
Yahuah says to my Master,
“Sit at My right hand,
until I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
Yahuah will send out the rod of Your strength from Zion.
Rule among Your enemies.
Your people will offer themselves willingly
in the day of Your power,
in holy array.
Out of the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
Yahuah has sworn,
and will not change His mind:
“You are a priest forever
in the order of Melchizedek.”
The Master is at Your right hand.
He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.
He will judge among the nations.
He will fill the places with the fallen.
He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.
He will drink from the brook along the way;
therefore He will lift up His head.
Companion Scripture
Hebrews 7:17–28 — A Priest Forever
For it is testified,
“You are a priest forever,
according to the order of Melchizedek.”
For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment
because of its weakness and uselessness,
for the law made nothing perfect,
and a bringing in of a better hope,
through which we draw near to Elohim.
Since it is not without the taking of an oath,
for they indeed have been made priests without an oath,
but He with an oath by Him who says of Him,
“Yahuah swore and will not change His mind,
‘You are a priest forever,
according to the order of Melchizedek.’”
By so much, Yahusha has become
the guarantee of a better covenant.
Many, indeed, have been made priests,
because they are hindered from continuing by death.
But He, because He lives forever,
has His priesthood unchangeable.
Therefore He is also able to save completely
those who draw near to Elohim through Him,
seeing He lives forever to make intercession for them.
For such a High Priest was fitting for us:
holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners,
and made higher than the heavens;
who does not need, like those high priests,
to offer up sacrifices daily,
first for His own sins, and then for the sins of the people.
For He did this once for all,
when He offered up Himself.
For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness,
but the word of the oath, which came after the law,
appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
Hebrew Word of the Day
מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק — Melchizedek
Meaning: King of Righteousness
Psalm 110 points to a priestly king who does not come through the ordinary Levitical line, but through the order of Melchizedek. This name carries the idea of righteousness, kingship, and priestly service joined together. It reminds us that Yahuah’s chosen King does not only rule with power; He also intercedes, restores, and brings His people near.
Torah Portion Bite
Psalm 110 reminds us that Yahuah’s authority is not temporary, fragile, or dependent on human approval. He establishes His King, gives Him victory, and confirms His priesthood by oath. This connects beautifully with the Torah’s repeated witness that Yahuah appoints whom He chooses, and His calling must be honored with reverence, humility, and obedience.
Prayer Prompt
Father Yahuah, teach me to trust Your appointed King and High Priest. Help me surrender willingly in the day of Your power. Search my heart for pride, resistance, and fear, and lead me into humble obedience. Let my life reflect righteousness, worship, and confidence in Your everlasting rule.
Daily Blessing
Blessed Fourth Day — Yahuah has established His King and Priest forever. His rule is not shaken by the nations, His oath does not fail, and His purpose will stand. Walk today with confidence that the One seated at the right hand is not distant from His people. He reigns with authority, intercedes with mercy, and leads His faithful ones in righteousness. May your heart be willing in the day of His power. May your steps be strengthened as you draw near to Elohim through the eternal High Priest. Let this day remind you that Yahuah’s Kingdom is sure, His justice is coming, and His people are never without a righteous Advocate.
Tomorrow Teaser
Tomorrow’s Psalm will turn our hearts toward praise, remembrance, and the mighty works of Yahuah. It will remind us that His deeds are great, His righteousness endures forever, and those who fear Him walk in wisdom.
